Sales Development Representative (SDR) 


EZ Blockchain is a technology company with cryptocurrency mining and energy focus.  Our mission is to solve the global waste energy problem with the help of crypto mining and high-density computing. We secure  Proof of Work blockchains efficiently and develop the infrastructure for the future of blockchains such as Bitcoin by partnering with energy providers. We design and build mobile data centers and Smartgrids flaring mitigation systems. We help oil and gas companies to monetize stranded and flared natural gas.  The company was founded in 2017.


Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience working in the oil and gas or energy industry in business development/sales departments to fill the Sales Development Representative position. An applicant must be excited about implementing new technologies for flaring mitigation, alternative natural gas monetization, and other environmental solutions for the oil and gas industry as well as know cryptocurrency mining industry. The position requires communicating directly with oil and gas, energy leads. Strong technical communication skills are required.  SDR will be the first point of contact for all business opportunities. It is a great path towards the acceleration of a sales career. 

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and hold initial introduction calls, meetings 
  • Lead qualification, prospecting, 
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Take notes about the lead, identify lead status and type, input information in CRM (Hubspot) 
  • Assign follow up tasks, help the senior business development team to arrange meetings, calls. 
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results


Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Sales/Business development 
  • Associate degree 
  • Basic knowledge of Bitcoin 
  • Basic knowledge of Bitcoin mining 
  • Basic understanding of natural gas to power generation 
  • Strong technical communication skills 
  • Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency mining, data center management preferred 
  • Excellent computer skills  
  • Authorized to work in the United States 
  • Valid Driver’s license 
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a team


Minimum 1-year experience in sales 

Minimum 1-year experience in oil and gas
